SUSPENDED LIVESWhat do you think of when you hear the word refugee? Using the real life stories from diverse refugee groups, SUSPENDED LIVES is a drama which breaks away from stereotypes and brings forth a multiplicity of refugee voices. What happens when refugees become the 'object' of a play? ...when the interpreters misinterpret? ...when the child does not go to school? ...when the refugee does not fit the stereotype?

REFUGEES INTO SCHOOLSEducation Action’s REFUGEES INTO SCHOOLS project supports refugees to visit schools in London and help children and young people understand the impact of conflict and why people are forced to flee their countries.
Through getting involved in schools, refugees will have opportunities to learn about education in England. They will also gain valuable skills and experience. Some refugees may also find this experience useful if they want to pursue a career in education.

Housing and Support for MigrantsThis course is aimed at solicitors, barristers, advice workers, local authority staff and others whose clients include asylum-seekers and other migrants. We have updated this course, which initially focused on asylum-seekers but now includes other migrants in need of welfare support such as refused asylum-seekers, EU nationals and their family members. The trainers aim to demystify and make sense of this complex area with plenty of time for case studies and question and answer sessions.
