Scheduled training courses

The completion and return of a booking form constitutes a booking. All cancellations must be confirmed in writing a minimum of four weeks before the course. A cancellation fee of £20 will apply. A cancellation is not valid unless a member of the Refugee Council Events Team has acknowledged, in writing, the receipt of the cancellation. No refunds will be made for cancellations in the four weeks prior to the course. A substitute delegate may be sent, in which case no cancellation charges will apply. Payment must be received before the training date.

Non-attendance will be taken as a cancellation on the day of the course and the full fee must be paid. We reserve the right at anytime, and without prior notice, to change venues, trainers, and/or the programme if necessary. If, for reasons out of our control, we have to cancel a course we will provide as much notice as possible and will provide a full refund of course fees to all delegates. Please note, this does not include the reimbursement of train fares or any other expenses you incur or expect to incur by attending the course.

In House courses

Full payment of course invoice must be received in advance of the date of the training course.

Cancellations must be requested in writing by the client and is only valid if receipt has been acknowledged in writing by a member of the Refugee Council Events Team.Cancellations received 30 days prior to the arranged course date will incur no course delivery fee.After this point if a course is cancelled: up to 14 days before the date of the course 50% of the total cost is payable and after this date the full amount will remain payable.

In the event of cancellation any arrangements that have been made in terms of travel and accommodation will remain the responsibility of the client and will remain payable in full.

If the course needs to be rescheduled the responsibility for arranging a new date lies with the client and any rescheduling must be arranged within 12 months of the original course date.After this time the booking will become void.

For quality control and training purposes the Refugee Council may send an additional member of staff or trainer on the day of the training course.In this instance, notification will be given to the client in advance.

We reserve the right at anytime, and without prior notice, to change the trainer.If, for reasons outside our control the Refugee Council must cancel an event we will provide as much notice as possible.
