Gill Thackray, Training Manager at Central London Connexions talks about her experience developing training with the Refugee Council:

"We approached the Refugee Council for in-house training because they are the foremost agency working with refugees. Our internal training needs analysis showed a demand for training in this area for our Personal Advisers. It was particularly appropriate for new staff working across the London boroughs we work in.

Once we established the programme, date and the trainer, the process of setting up the course, making arrangements for the trainer and training materials to be delivered was very smooth. The Refugee Council is very well organised. The trainer was very knowledgeable and friendly, which went down well with our delegates. Since the evaluations were very positive we have run this course several times. I would definitely recommend the Refugee Council training programme to others."
