Portraits
The participants explored different ways of representing themselves, such as by not showing their faces, making a portrait with an object that is important to them, directing a photographer and using studio lights to gain different lighting effects.
In the lead up to creating images for the final exhibition the photography workshops focused on how to take portraits within an environment in a way that reflects the subject’s sense of belonging in that place. On trips in London, to the London Eye and by boat to Greenwich, they photographed environmental portraits of each other. For protection reasons we are unable to publish online all this series of portraits.
