Our Services
Free Employment Advice & Support
Our new IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) service was launched in April 2012. Funded by Esmee Fairbairn, this service supports refugees living in London to access appropriate training and employment opportunities.
We offer:
- One to one Initial Assessment and Action Planning
- Expert advice and support
- Access to a range of employment workshops
- Help with Job Search, CVs & interviews
- Help understanding the UK working culture
- Work experience opportunities
- Support in finding a job that's right for the individual
Building Bridges: Refugee Healthcare Professionals Programme
This project is funded by NHS London to support refugee doctors based in the capital to re-qualify and secure employment. Working with partners we can offer a range of services to help with:
- The re-qualification process
- Getting experience through hospital placements
- Finding suitable employment
We can often offer small financial grants to help refugee health care professionals (doctors, nurses, dentists) with re-qualification costs.
The NHS London is funding the project until April 2014.

Refugees into Teaching
Refugees into Teaching supports those with a background in teaching who are looking to requalify and access employment within primary and secondary education.
Funding for direct services under this project finished in 2011 but the project still accepts registrations and can provide:
- Access to facebook group for refugee teachers
- Website information resources
- Email newsletter containing information about relevant services and events
- Access to regular training and information workshops
- Limited voluntary school placements.
