Refugee Council provides support to the wide variety of organisations, agencies and communities who work with, support and help refugees and asylum seekers.
We ensure these groups have access to the best support to help refugees and asylum seekers in the UK. We do this by supporting refugee communities, other local organisations and regional networks; providing clear, accurate and useful information resources; and developing and delivering a large number of training courses.
The Basis Project
The Basis Project is a flagship project of Refugee Council and Refugee Action that aims to help strengthen and develop refugee community organisations (RCOs).
The Basis Project has been established to support RCOs with their valuable work with their communities, both serving and involving them. Basis will also work with mainstream voluntary sector organisations to improve the environment within which RCOs work.
