The Refugee Council is dedicated to producing clear, accurate and useful information designed to help and support asylum seekers and refugees and those who advise and work with them.
We produce a number of guides and resources for those who help, support and work with refugees and asylum seekers (such as local authorities, employers, NHS workers, and schools). We also provide practical guides to refugee community organisations who often act as advisers to refugees and asylum seekers in their communities.
We provide information leaflets for refugees and asylum seekers in 20 languages. These leaflets contain information on the asylum process and support and entitlement. These are also available on our multilingual website. We also provide useful information on the government's voluntary returns package.
We deliver a large number of policy papers - reports, briefings and responses - on a key policy issues and government legislation.
We have developed bilingual workbooks for schools to help refugee children and children from asylum seeking families. We also have a number of resources for schools on the issue of asylum and why people seek refuge.
