We provide a wide range of training courses to service providers - those working with and supporting refugees and asylum seekers - and refugee community organisations who have a pivotal role in advising refugees and asylum seekers
The Refugee Council has years of experience running training designed to support service providers across the UK in their work with asylum seekers and refugees. Our courses are regularly updated to help keep participants abreast of the facts and answer questions on policy and practice. Our experienced trainers offer practical information to a wide range of delegates - helping you to meet the needs of asylum seekers and refugees in your work. We offer scheduled training courses in London, Birmingham and Leeds as well as in-house training packages.
We provide support to refugee community organisations on organisational development by providing them with information, advice and training.
We provide the following training for RCOs in the following ways:
- Financial literacy training for refugee individuals and RCOs in the West Midlands
- Training for RCOs in all the regions of England on fundraising, financial management, governance and project development.
We can arrange in-house training, designed for individual refugee community organisations, based on their particular needs, identified following a needs assessment. They are run at the organisation’s premises, which makes it easier for many people from the organisation to attend.
