Iraq and Section 4

This briefing has been produced following a number of important developments on several asylum policy issues relating to Iraq. It is a brief overview of the current position as regards that country and it must be stressed that the situation remains fluid in all respects. Further briefings will be produced as issues develop and arrangements become clearer.

This briefing is an update of previous briefings issued in August and November 2005.
