Job Centre Plus and Refugee Council: joint communiqué on working in partnership [August 2009]
Mel Groves, Chief Executive of Jobcentre Plus and Donna Covey, Chief Executive of the Refugee Council met recently to look at ways of working in partnership to support refugees onto training and into employment. The aim of this joint statement is to outline a number of areas in which JCP will work in partnership with the Refugee Council and other agencies to support refugees into training and employment. The statement is also published on JCP’s intranet and available to JCP advisers and managers.
