Refugee integration

Refugee Council's research report on refugees’ experiences of integration [October 2007]

Refugees’ Experiences of Integration is a two year qualitative research project looking at the social aspects of refugees’ integration, particularly in relation to how these were experienced in two different localities, Haringey and Dudley, and across different groups of refugees and asylum seekers.

The project was undertaken in partnership with the University of Birmingham and funded by the Big Lottery Fund. This report gives a detailed account of the findings of the project and concludes with a series of policy recommendations for stakeholders at a national, regional and local level.

There is also an executive summary of the report available for download.
