"Juxtaposed" Immigration Controls
Response to Home Office Consultation on Juxtaposed Controls Implementation, Dover-Calais November 2002 [January 2003]
The Refugee Council's response to November 2002's Home Office consultation paper on 'juxtaposed controls', which are full immigration controls performed outside the UK by British immigration staff, a measure which will cause hardship to people in need of protection and throw into question the UK's commitment to the international protection regime.
