This section lists other organisations which provide specialist advice to refugees or link refugee and asylum issues to broader debates on migration and human rights.

While the Refugee Council website provides up to date information on our resources, advice and services for refugees and asylum seekers, we aren't the only ones who work for and with refugees and asylum seekers. Please use the listings below to find out more.

Refugee Agencies

The Refugee Council is one of five key organisations across the UK providing advice and services to refugees and asylum seekers.

Organisations dealing with asylum and immigration law

The Refugee Council advises asylum seekers and refugees about their support and welfare entitlements, but other organisations provide advice and representation on asylum and immigration law.

Organisations providing specialist support

In addition to the key refugee agencies, there are other organisations which support refugees and asylum seekers. Many deal with a specific areas such as health, housing, education or employment.

Organisations working on issues affecting asylum seekers and refugees

Some of these organisations provide information or advocate on asylum issues, others are networks of likeminded bodies.

Human rights organisations

As part of their broader human rights mission many human rights organisations campaign for the rights of asylum seekers and refugees. The Refugee Council works with many of them.
