Add nearly a third to the value of your gift!
As long as you are a UK taxpayer, we can reclaim the tax you have already paid on your donations. All you have to do is to check the box of the gift aid declaration next time you receive one of our appeals.
Alternatively, you can call us on 020 7346 1205 to confirm that you are a UK tax payer, or email us at supporter@refugeecouncil.org.uk and we will send you a Gift Aid confirmation letter.

Payroll Giving
Donate from your salary and receive immediate tax relief.
Because your donation is taken from your salary before tax is deducted, it costs you less to give us more. Payroll Giving is a simple and cost effective way to donate, and allows us to plan ahead in confidence.

Tax returns
Since April 2004, the Inland Revenue enables you to give to charity through your tax return.
All you have to do is to quote the reference AAH32DG and nominate The British Refugee Council as the recipient of your tax repayments.
Legacy giving
Charitable legacies are paid before tax is deducted. Leaving a gift in your will would help you to reduce the total amount of inheritance tax due from the estate.
