Banner created by the young people attending the Children's Section Social Evening and Refugee Youth.

In 2013 1174 separated children claimed ayslum in the UK,  seeking safety from countries where the state has caused them harm or has been unable to protect them. The Refugee Council works to safeguard and improve the lives of separated children in England.

Latest Youth Activity Trip:  The Houses of Parliament Tour—August 2014:

Children's Section trip to the House of of Commons August 2014

A group of 15 young people had the opportunity to visit both the House of Commons and House of Lords.

Thanks to the Croydon Central MP, young people were able to visit some of the key areas of the Palace including the Westminster Hall, Queen's Robin Room, Royal Gallery and Central Lobby.
