Youth Development Project Volunteer

Location:  Christopher Wren Yard, 115 High Street, Croydon, CR0 1QG

Commitment:  Every Monday and Wednesday 4:00pm – 7:00pm (plus planning time) at least for six months minimum.

The Refugee Council works to improve the lives of separated children in the UK. Around 3000 separated children arrive in the country each year, seeking safety from countries that are experiencing conflict and which may have little infrastructure to care for and protect children. As well as providing advice and support, we aim to offer educational and leisure activities to young people

The Youth Development Project is funded by the Refugee Council and is part of the Children’s Section. The project supports unaccompanied refugees and asylum seeking children, to achieve in education and enjoy recreational activities.
