New Roots Hull

An integration service for refugees living in Hull, delivered in partnership between HCAS, Goodwin Development Trust and the Refugee Council. Part funded by the EU Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.

Please note that this service is coming to an end on 31 December 2023.

HCAS and Goodwin Development Trust deliver the following services:

Engage—Housing, welfare and benefits support

Goodwin Development Trust:

  • Housing advice
  • Housing benefit applications
  • Council tax applications

HCAS:

  • Managing finances
  • Welfare benefit applications
  • Immigration advice (OISC Level 1 (A&P))
  • Health and wellbeing

Who it's for

This service is available to:

  • Refugees
  • Humanitarian Protection
  • ILR (Settlement)
  • DLR (Over 12 months, as a result of an asylum claim)
  • Resettled refugees and family reunion

Please bring your BRP or Home Office letter as proof of eligibility to access the service.
