London Therapeutic Men – Counselling Service (LTM)

Counselling for adult men who are seeking asylum in the UK

Please note currently London Therapeutic Men’s Service is closed to new referrals.

During the current outbreak of COVID-19, we continue to support our clients remotely, having adapted our therapeutic service for the phone and online. For any queries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Our London Therapeutic Men’s Service provides one to one counselling for adult men who are seeking asylum. Please note we welcome people who identify as non-binary to this project.

What we offer

  • 12 sessions of counselling from our offices in Stratford and at a therapeutic outreach service at Initial Accommodation in London
  • 1-2-1 sessions for those managing stress and anxiety from navigating the asylum system
  • Help to manage the transition to the host country
  • Crisis intervention
  • Telephone counselling after dispersal until connected to local services

How to access this service

If you would like to make a referral to London Therapeutic Men (LTM) please ensure your client meets the above criteria and can travel to Stratford for weekly sessions. You can request a referral from by emailing us at the address below.
