The Refugee Council is one of the leading organisations in the UK working with refugees and people seeking asylum. We provide direct help and support to clients to ensure their needs and concerns are voiced and addressed. Volunteers are a key part of many of the services that support our clients and work alongside paid staff across the organisation.
The Integration team aims to provide advice and support to newly recognised refugees in the 5 main areas of immigration, housing, health, welfare and employment. The team currently has established an employment support service and has a history of providing housing, welfare and health related advice.
We are now looking for the support of new volunteers interested in joining this fast paced, exciting and rewarding service. We are keen to attract people who have experience in providing housing and/or welfare advice so that you can help us delivery high quality advice. Volunteers are crucial in our ability to deliver this service effectively.
