The aim of the groups is to offer psychoeducation to clients and support them with exploring the challenges they are facing, making sense of their life journeys, and recognising their strengths.
The volunteers will run fortnightly sessions on alternate weeks with small groups of clients (max 8). They will receive the support of the Project Therapist in developing and planning activities and materials for the group.
Please note that applicants need:
- To be qualified or in the final year of a recognised counselling diploma level 4 or above and have at least 100 clinical supervised hours.
- To be registered members or student members of BACP or UKCP and adhere to the relevant ethical guidelines for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
We strongly encourage applications from individuals from the migrant and refugee community.
