The idea behind the Cooking Collective is to provide a safe space for refugees (both men and women) to socialise and develop their confidence and employability skills, while learning about cooking skills and recipes from the world. Two volunteers will be responsible for planning and running weekly sessions over a period of 10 weeks starting on Tuesday 12th March. Each session will focus on a particular dish and\or cuisine and, as the course progresses, we expect clients to be more and more involved in the selection of recipes and dishes. The group will also work towards developing recipes to be served in supper clubs and events. At the end of the 10-week period we will be exploring opportunities for participants to move closer to employment or self-employment.

For more information about the role please see the Refugee Cooking Collective Volunteer task description.

To apply please email anna.raffetti@refugeecouncil.org.uk expressing your interest for the role and outlining briefly how you meet the requirements. Deadline is Sunday 24th February, midnight. Interviews to be held in the w/c/ 25th February.
