We are delighted to be joining the solidarity with refugees march in London on Saturday 12th September. Our Chief Executive, Maurice Wren, will be speaking at the rally before the march sets off and we hope that thousands of people are there to show that Britain welcomes refugees and to show our solidarity with people fleeing war and persecution around the world.
We would love people to join us on the march, so please meet us at the location below. Look out for the Refugee Council banner. We will be there with T-shirts, badges and bracelets for you to wear to help get the message out that refugees are welcome.
When: Saturday 12th September, 2015. We will be at our meeting point from 11.15 and will leave to join the rally at around 11.30.
Where: We will meet at the corner of Curzon Street and Park Lane, before heading off to the rally point on Achilles Way.
What you should bring: Comfortable shoes, water and an umbrella (check the forecast before you leave). You can also print and bring along the posters below.
