In 2017, we published a guide to help anyone supporting refugees make homelessness applications to local authorities. We have now updated the guide to reflect changes in case law that have happened since it was published.

The guide has a particular focus on the needs and entitlements of newly recognised adult refugees who have a priority need for accommodation due to their vulnerability: Making homelessness applications for refugees in England February 2018. 

We are also delighted to be offering free training on making homelessness applications on behalf of single adult refugees. Our training day will take place in Edgbaston, Birmingham on Thursday 8th March 2018. All info is here.
