Policy briefings
We influence policies and decisions that affect refugees
Our aim is to influence the policies and decisions that have an impact on refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, based on the experiences of refugees in the UK.
We do this by working with officials and decision-makers, and responding to consultations and inquiries on forthcoming policy and legislation.
Our policy work focuses on key areas of the asylum system including destitution, housing, legal support, detention, and integration, as well issues facing vulnerable groups such as separated children and women.
We also work in partnership with those who share our aims, including other voluntary sector organisations and professional associations.
