The Children’s Section
Welcome to the Children's Section
We offer advice and support to unaccompanied children seeking asylum in England.

The Children's Section works to safeguard and improve the lives of separated children seeking asylum.
In 2016, 3175 separated children claimed asylum in the UK. These children, like many others, arrive in the UK seeking protection. They are children who leave their country of origin because they are no longer safe, due to conflict, political instability or other reasons, and who then undertake long and difficult journeys to get to the UK.
If you are working with an unaccompanied child who is seeking asylum and think we may be able to help, refer them to our service by clicking here.
Our advisers work around England offering advice to children and other professionals. To see where we are currently operating advice surgeries, please click here or call 020 7346 1134.
