About the role:

The People & Culture Officer post sits within the Resources Directorate and is primarily responsible for advising on a range of HR & payroll issues, compliance, and the integrity of HR information systems. You will be the Refugee Council’s specialist in matters relating to HR electronic data storage, manipulation, and reporting, including that relating to payroll.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Provide generalist administrative support for the full employee lifecycle, as well as supporting hiring managers using our recruitment system and advising on recruitment process, drafting, and publishing adverts.
  • Preparation of the monthly payroll submission and to be the main contact for managers in ensuring that information impacting on staff pay is inputted accurately and the relevant checking processes undertaken.
