The Children’s Section is responsible for delivering services to separated refugee children. They also lead on raising the profile of their clients, and they advocate on their behalf. Supporting this work, the Refugee Counci lpromotes good practice to statutory and voluntary agencies and seeks to influence government in improving both policy decisions and policy making at a national level.
This post is a specialist post working with young people who have been age disputed by either the Home Office and/or local authority social services. The team works with many other agencies, community organisations and local groups in working with refugee children and children seeking asylum.
You will assist the Age Disputes Adviser in their work, including data inputting, record keeping, report and letter writing,
and seeing clients as appropriate.
