Refugee Advice Project for Ukrainians on a Family Visa

Refugee Council’s Refugee Advice Project is open for referrals for Ukrainians who have a Ukraine Family Visa. We provide one-to-one casework on access to housing, welfare benefits and access to healthcare. We are based in Stratford, London and accept referrals from refugees living in London.

Who it's for

We currently accept referrals for the following people:

  1. People who received the below types of leave to remain within the past 6 months:
  • Refugee status (and dependants/spouses)
  • Humanitarian Protection (and dependants/spouses)
  • Discretionary leave to remain (with at least 12 months leave and only as a result of an asylum claim)
  • People who have arrived under Family Reunion
  1. Ukrainians with recourse to public funds who have the following types of visa:
  • Ukraine Family Visa
  • Refugee status (and dependants/spouses)
  • Humanitarian Protection (and dependants/spouses)
  • Discretionary leave to remain
  • People who have arrived under Family Reunion

Please note: we are not accepting referrals for people who have the Homes For Ukraine Visa due to the government funding provided to local authorities to support those with that visa.
