Ken Livingstone and Brian Paddick are the first London mayoral candidates to sign the London Elections Refugee Pledge, along with 13 London Assembly candidates.
The Refugee Council launched the pledge on Friday, asking candidates in the London Elections to sign a pledge to make London a welcoming place for refugees and asylum seekers if they are elected.
There are less than two weeks until the elections for the Mayor of London and the London Assembly, and the Refugee Council is urging supporters to use this opportunity to speak to the candidates about the issues that matter to them.
