The Department of Health is keen to enable refugees who are qualified health professionals to apply for jobs in the NHS. For this purpose, a Refugee Health Professionals’ Steering Group has been appointed and given the responsibility for allocating funding to projects aimed at integrating refugees into the NHS workforce. The department is inviting funding bids from projects which target a variety of refugee health professionals.
